Growing application of composite materials at aircraft and space industry, at construction etc. is accounted by variety and unique combination of properties usual for these materials.
Glass-reinforced plastic is the most wide-spread variant (modification) of polymeric material because due to reinforcement by glass fiber the polymeric matrix acquires properties that inaccessible for usual plastic (thermoplastics, polyethylene, chloride vinyl, polypropylene and so on). Strength, abrasion resistance, liner expansion, counteraction to vibratory and impact loads of glass-reinforced plastics are by order of magnitude greater. Practically glass-reinforced plastic may be called "light metal". At the same time glass-reinforced plastics enjoy low heat conduction and does not fear of electrochemical (galvanic) corrosion.

At our production process glass-reinforced articles are hardened by the most reliable hot process at temperature range 135-150 0C. Results of lot (batch) sample tests show that degree of hardening runs 95-98 % and this index is excellent for polymers (the unacceptable index for plastics is 80-85 %). Diameters of fabricated piping (aerators, drains, etc.) - 30 : 400 mm. Mesh dimension (screen size) of filtering partition - (0,05*0,05):(10,0*10.0) mm Length of a single pipe - 0 :3,5 m. Connection - adhesive joint and flange, threaded, faucet connection as well. Operating temperature of glass-reinforced plastic - - 90...+110 oT. Operating pressure is up to 1MPa and more (depends on reeling thickness). |
